Lincecum Back To Normal After Back Flare-Up

Two days after having back stiffness, Tim was OK.

RHP Tim Lincecum, whose Feb. 21 bullpen session was cancelled because of a stiff back, threw off a mound two days later and said he felt fine.

Lincecum, a two-time Cy Young winner, went 13-14 last season with a 2.74 ERA.

Another Giants starting pitcher, Ryan Vogelsong, is expected to be out of action for about two weeks because of a strained back.

--RHP Brian Wilson had a more strenuous bullpen session Feb. 23. Wilson threw his first bullpen session Feb. 20 at about 80 percent effort. In the second outing, he threw harder during his 27-pitch session with manager Bruce Bochy watching.

The Giants had to give Wilson time off last August to rest his injured elbow, and eventually shut him down prior to the end of the season. Wilson recorded 36 saves and a 3.11 ERA a year ago.
