In today's Winter Ball Roundup: Graham, picking up steam in Mexico, could find himself in the big leagues in 2012.

Games played Friday, November 25.

DOMINICAN WINTER LEAGUE

No Giants prospects saw action in the DWL Friday.

MEXICAN PACIFIC LEAGUE

Tyler Graham went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run and a strikeout Friday. It was the 27-year-old's fourth straight game with a hit for the Tomateros de Culiacan, and he has hit safely in 9 of his last 10. Over that span, Graham is hitting .359 (14-for-39). Overall he's hitting .277 (46-for-166).

Graham was recently added to the Giants 40-man roster, and could still prove to be a valuable asset moving forward. At the very least he could bring some energy to the big club in 2012 as a fourth or fifth outfielder. The Oregon State product brings outstanding speed, plus defense and extremely aggressive base running to the yard every day -- all skills that Bruce Bochy could certainly utilize, if only occasionally.

At this point it's unclear what the future holds for Graham. At 27 he's not necessarily a true prospect -- and he's certainly being overshadowed by another speedy outfielder in the Giants system, the 23-year-old Gary Brown. But Graham did swipe 60 bases for Fresno in 2011, and posted strong overall numbers for the Grizzlies in 2010. Still, Graham has zero big league at bats to his name in six seasons of pro ball.

The question remains: Will 2012 by Tyler's year? Or he destined to be the Giants' speediest quad-A talent?

VENEZUELAN WINTER LEAGUE

The VWL had the day off Friday, nothing to report.

AUSTRALIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE

The Perth Heat -- the only team in the ABL featuring Giants prospects -- did not play Friday.

PUERTO RICAN WINTER LEAGUE

Johnny Monell did not see action Friday for the Criollos de Caguas.
