Fresno Grizzlies: No Game Scheduled

After needing 14 innings to defeat Tucson on Tuesday night, Fresno had a well-deserved day off. The Grizzlies resume action Thursday night as Colorado Springs comes to town for the start of a four-game series.

Connecticut Defenders: Postponed due to rain

With Wednesday's game against Trenton being rained out, Connecticut has now lost nine games due to poor weather conditions. No make up date was announced.

Yosandy Ibanez was tagged for three runs and four walks in just one inning of work during San Jose's 9-5 loss to Lancaster. In the top of the first inning, Pablo Sandoval lined a triple to center, knocking in Antoan Richardson. One batter later, Sandoval scored on a groundout by William Thompson to put the Giants in front 2-0. It was all downhill from there, however, as Lancaster would pummel the San Jose pitching staff for nine runs in the first six innings.

Sandoval and Michael Mooney combined to go 4-for-6 with three runs batted in to lead San Jose at the plate. Richardson continues to run wild on the base paths, as he swiped his 10th base of the young season. Anthony Moreno was one of the few bright spots on the mound for the Giants, tossing 1 2/3 shutout innings, while fanning a pair.

Augusta GreenJackets: No Game Scheduled

Following a series victory over Kannapolis, in which they took three of four games, Augusta had the day off. The red-hot GreenJackets will kick off a four-game series against Greenville Thursday night.
