HWB Rosters Announced

With the offseason nearing, the Hawaiian Baseball League released its tentative rosters of both American and Japanese prospects to play in the new version of the classic winter league.

Note: These rosters remain tentative. The final rosters will have 28 players a piece, and changes may be made before opening day.

Update 9/28/06: The San Francisco Giants have withdrawn David Newton from the Waikiki Beach Boys. No replacement has been announced. The New York Mets have announced that Robert Parnell will fill their empty spot on the North Shore Honu. The Los Angeles Dodgers have replaced Anthony Harper with Kenly Jansen.

Update 10/01/06: The San Francisco Giants have named Alex Hinshaw to replace Newton on the Waikiki roster.
