ARIZONA FALL LEAGUE - Scottsdale 2, Surprise 1

Brandon Crawford kept his hit streak alive, taking it to 15 games with a 1-for-3 effort on Thursday. The 24-year-old infielder also drew a walk and struck out once. Brandon turned two double plays on defense, one with Panik in the top of the ninth and one with Ryan Dent of the Boston Red Sox. After 16 appearances, Crawford is hitting .310 (22-for-71) with two doubles, two triples two homers and 10 RBI.

Joe Panik didn't get the start, but did come in in the top of the ninth for the Scorps. Joe made his presence felt, turning the aforementioned double play with Crawford, then singling home the game-winning run with two out in the bottom of the ninth. The Scorps pulled out a 2-1 victory.

Seth Rosin has become automatic in relief, pitching two more shutout innings for the Scorpions. The native of St. Paul, MN allowed two hits, but dropped his ERA to an impressive 0.82 this fall.

Ryan Bradley made his second relief appearance for Scottsdale, pitching one scoreless inning and striking out one. Bradley, who was recently added to the Scorpions roster, bounced back nicely from his first appearance -- where he gave up a run on two hits while only retiring two batters.

DOMINICAN WINTER LEAGUE

Juan Perez went 1-for-3 with the game's only RBI in a 1-0 win for Aguilas Cibaenas on Thursday. The 25-year-old outfielder is hitting .358 (29-for-81) with six doubles and two triples. Perez has also stolen 8 bags in 10 attempts. The native of Santiago, DR -- who played 131 games for double-A Richmond in 2011 -- is clearly not shy about swinging the bat: he's rocking a 15/3 K/BB.

MEXICAN PACIFIC LEAGUE

Tyler Graham went 0-for-4 Thursday for the Tomateros de Culiacan, dropping his season average down to .259 (28-for-108).

Justin Christian filled the stat sheet on Thursday, going 2-for-5 with a double, a run and a strikeout for the Caneros de Los Mochis. Christian added a stolen base, his first, and an outfield assist, gunning down a runner at third base. The 31-year-old has hit safely in five straight games, and in six of his last seven. During the five-game hit streak, Christian is hitting .375 (9-for-24) with two doubles. On the year he's up to .268 (11-for-41).

VENEZUELAN WINTER LEAGUE

We're running out of superlatives for Hector Sanchez at this point. Safe to say, he's on fire. The 21-year-old went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run on Thursday, taking his average to .418 (23-for-55). The homer was Hector's second of the winter for the Tiburones de La Guaira, to go along with three doubles, seven runs and nine RBI in 16 games.

Ehire Adrianza came in in the eighth inning as a defensive sub for the Tiburones on Thursday. Ehire did get one at-bat, singling to left with two out in the ninth. The 22-year-old is hiting .387 (12-for-31).

Jose Flores went 0-for-3 with a walk and a couple strikeouts while playing third for the Aguilas de Zulia Thursday. Flores, a 24-year-old who played with double-A Richmond and high-A San Jose in 2011, is hitting .348 (8-for-23) with three RBI in seven games this winter.

AUSTRALIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE

The Perth Heat, the only team featuring Giants prospects in the ABL, did not play on Thursday.

PUERTO RICAN WINTER LEAGUE

The PWL had the day off on Thursday, nothing to report.
