Panik wins it for the Scorps. Belt stays hot in the DR. Graham hitting well in Mexico. Sanchez back from the dead in Venezuela. That and more in GiantsPipeline's daily look at Giants prospects playing in the winter leagues.

Games played Tuesday, November 1.

ARIZONA FALL LEAGUE - Scottsdale 6, Peoria 4

Gary Brown and Brandon Crawford got Tuesday off for the Scorps. But Joe Panik stayed hot.

The recently selected AFL Rising Star hit seventh and played second base for the Scorps. Panik went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI on a sixth-inning blast that snapped a 4-4 tie. It was Joe's second home run of the AFL season. The multi-hit performance raises Panik's average to .255 (14-for-56). Red-hot Harper lifts Scorpions past Javs

Brandon Belt had a big game for the Leones del Escogido on Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Belt hit third in the order and started the game in right field. He was later moved to first base in a defensive substitution. The Baby Giraffe has hit safely in his last four games, and is hitting .306 (15-for-49) on the season.

Francisco Peguero got Tuesday off for the Gigantes del Cibao.

Tyler Graham also had himself a night on Tuesday for the Tomateros de Culiacan. The 27-year-old went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, a walk and a strikeout. Tyler has hit safely in five of his last six contests, gathering 13 hits over that span. Graham's average has jumped to .299 (23-for-77).

Hector Sanchez was finally back in the lineup on Tuesday for the Tiburones de La Guaira, hitting sixth and doing the catching. Hector continued right where he left off at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. In 8 games now, the talented young backstop is hitting .440 (11-for-25). Hector did have an error on catcher's interference and a passed ball, but we're willing to write that off as rust. He's essentially been out of the lineup since October 20.

The Tiburones gave Ehire Adrianza Tuesday off.

Max Ramirez started at DH for the Bravos de Margarita, going 1-for-2 with a double and two walks. The 27-year-old catcher, who spent time with Fresno in 2011, is hitting .245 (12-for-49) this winter.

Edwin Escobar, who pitched in 15 games for the Giants of the Arizona Rookie League in 2011, started Tuesday's game for the Cardenales de Lara. The 19-year-old lefty tossed three innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk. Escobar has pitched in four games in Venezuela, posting an ERA of 3.86.
